using telepathy/mind reading abilities on this character: jack's thoughts are canonically difficult to read. in one instance where someone was attempting to read his mind, he could not only tell that someone was trying to listen in, but could control what they listened into. this is either an evolutionary advantage of being a human from an advanced era and/or tied to him being a fixed point in time. i'm a-okay with finding a way to somewhat (or fully) nerf this, however, so hit me up if you'd like to go digging around in this thoughts!
